From fertile soil, to sand and stone, it is the densest of all elements. FIRE Color: Red Direction: South Tarot Suit: Swords Astrological Signs: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius Natural Symbols: Lava, fire, and candles Fire is a swift moving element, the life force of the elements. It is active and aggressive. It can destroy, but in this destruction makes way for new life and growth, and so is a necessary part of the circle. A paradox of dimensions and directions, as Spirit is multidimensional and non-dimensional at the same time Tarot Suit: Major Arcana Astrological Signs: None Sprit is the primal source of energy which creates and fuels all the other Elements. It is associated with the higher aspects of our lives. Spirit cannot be portrayed within the confines of the four other Elements, as it transcends all. |

I have included the Elements and their basic properties for those of you who are feeling drawn to Earth Spirituality. The Elements are an important principal which help us relate to concepts, people, places and things. The Elements are also an integral part of the suits of the Tarot, and for those of you with an interest in Divination, or receiving a reading from me, a basic understanding of the Elements is helpful. |
