The Dream
My dream was disturbing. I was on an island watching a couple kill each other in some sort of castle or old home that was highly decorated. (There were guns and blood that I could see.) The man and woman however, were in other people's bodies, and did not know they were killing each other. (If that makes any sense) They then both fell to the floor, and ashes were formed, and the only thing that remained were their wedding bands. It was then, that their spirits arose to see they were together again, and they were smiling. Next thing I see, I am watching from afar on another island this "castle" blow up. There are huge orange flames and large explosions heard from the distance of where I am... I am flustered, and angry. Then I am in someone's van, with my father beside me in the back. A young man is driving (I do not know who he is), and there is somebody in the passenger seat as well. The odd thing is that both my father and I are on exercise bicycles (in the van). The van is climbing a steep hill (as if we were in San Francisco) and having a hard time getting over the top. As we come down, it seems we are in an amusement park and there are tourists all around us.
The Interpretation
The dream you shared with me has a dual aspect to it. First, the couple that you saw killing each other, then being reunited again after death, is VERY interesting. I do not want to foist my belief in reincarnation upon you if you have a different belief system. However, this is my feeling on the matter, and you can do with it what you will. The couple you dreamed of represents you, and a man that you shared your life with in a previous life. It was an intense relationship, mixed with passion and violence. However, you are soon going to be reunited with him again in this life. This is what is reflected in being reunited after death, and rejoicing in that, represents to me. The fact that they were in different bodies, as you said it, reinforces that further for me. Reincarnation, and the soul mate theory, means that we share our lives with the same people, over and over again, in different relationships over time. When issues were not resolved in one lifetime, we "agree" (wrestle with the concept of "agreeing" after death and before rebirth to meet again if you will) to meet again in another life to attempt to reconnect and resolve that unfinished business. A married couple for example might not necessarily come together again as a married couple, but sometimes as mother and son, boss and coworker...friend and foe.
But what I am seeing here is that in this lifetime, once you complete this difficult emotional transitory period you are experiencing, you will once again be reunited with a man whom you shared a previous life with. The feelings of anger and frustration you experienced is a carryover from that previous lifetime, and is something your soul desperately wants to shed to prepare for the reunion that is upcoming.
During your reading, I saw that until you cleared this "emotional fog" from your life, and healed the many emotional and spiritual bruises you are still showing, any relationship you entered into prior to that time would be transitory in nature. Your reading reflects not only pain and disappointment in past relationships, but in the current one as well. This is due not only to unresolved issues within this lifetime, but carryover pain from the last. Your dream reinforces that there IS someone that will be coming into your life -- I believe he brought forth this dream to reinforce that for YOU as well.
The remainder of the dream, as it shifted focus, reflects what is going on in your life spiritually, and emotionally....going uphill and fighting to reach the top is a reflection of your battle to overcome the environment in which you have been living; the dark cloud that has been hanging over you for years. The unknown driver reflects your subconscious feeling and belief that someone ELSE will be helping you reach the top of that hill, and you will not do it completely under your own power; that through the support and guidance of those close to you, you will persevere. The fact that you were riding an exercise bike with your father reflects your knowledge that in some part, you will need to have strength and courage as you do strive to reach the top of that hill, and will need to contribute to the healing process as well, by actively working to shed the pain of your past, and reconcile those relationships which are still causing you bitterness. Your father was with you to help you through that journey. The passenger, interestingly, is someone you are "taking along for the ride" to enjoy the fruits of your labor....I feel very strongly that the person in the passenger van is the man we just referenced who is to come into your life later on....he is simply waiting for you to get to the place where you need to be so that he can come into your life.
When you finally get over the hill, you are in an amusement park, filled with many people.....what a better representation could you ever expect to find for the joy, peace, and renewed sense of spirit you will find than that which is found at an amusement park? You are anticipating this renewal in the same way that a child anticipates a trip to Disneyland, knowing the excitement and exuberance you will feel once you are able to clear that hill.

The Dream
I dreamt that I was in my living room, and suddenly felt compelled to go to my front door and open it. (I should tell you that I often have lucid dreams [where the dreamer is aware on a conscious level that he or she is dreaming, and is also able to some extent to control and alter the content of the dream] and this dream was a lucid dream as well.) I opened the front door, and there was a pickup truck driving by the quiet street in front of my house, almost in slow motion. On the back of the pickup truck was a large barn owl, just staring back at me. The owl was a little larger than what a real owl is, and seemed almost to have a human expression in its face. I watched the truck and owl pass by, thinking that this was interesting because I have never dreamt of owls before. Almost as quickly as the truck passed from view, it reappeared again going in the opposite direction. Now, the owl had its wings outstretched fully, and almost seemed to be waving to me. I turned around back toward my livingroom, and there next to me was a large barrel of bird seed (how convenient!) I reached into the barrel, and grabbed as much seed as I could, wanting to offer the owl something. As I threw the seeds out of the front door, the owl flapped its wings in a large swoosh, and my front lawn and porch were covered with a shimmer of a gold glitter-like substance, and gold wrapped candy. I stood looking at the owl's gift for a moment, and looked back up to see that the truck and the owl were gone. Out of nowhere materialized two "faceless" men -- twins -- standing single file at my door. I was filled with fear and dread and slammed the door in their faces. I stood behind the closed door but I could hear their voices silently calling to me, through my mind, "We are here to talk to you, please don't shut us out, please talk to us!" Over and over they pleaded to talk to me. I shouted through the door that I was not talking to them, and to please leave me alone. I woke up just at that point, still saying "please leave me alone."
The Interpretation
First, let me address what your Reading, on its own, reflects with respect to this dream. You already know that your lucid dreaming is an indication of a psychically open nature. You also know that you are very in tune with the spirit world, and have been for as long as you can remember I would imagine. However, you are constantly fighting and attempting to block out this part of yourself. You have a very real fear about your ability to "see" and to "know," especially when it relates to seeing or hearing spirit entities. I cannot force you to accept that which is a part of you, but at the same time I want to reassure you that what you have been experiencing cannot harm you, and merely being more accepting of your gifts does not mean you have to utilize them on a daily basis.
In many cultures, the owl signifies the very essense of the Spirit World: the messenger and deliverer of the spirits themselves, as well as signifying mysticism, and "all seeing" psychism. The owl's presence in your dream represents not only this essence in yourself, but a very loud proclamation that you cannot hide from your own nature forever....eventually you will be found. The owl offered "gifts," which metaphorically represented your clairvoyance and clairaudience. It is not a question of whether you will be willing to "receive" these gifts or not...you took them at birth. The remaining question to be answered is simply what you will choose to do with them, and whether you will learn to come to terms with this aspect of yourself. The owl brought his gifts peacefully. The fact that the owl was being "brought" to you on the back of a pickup truck signifies to me that the message his essence -- YOUR essence -- that of clairvoyance and clairaudience -- is being "brought" to you "through" and "by" someone else. This will make sense when you read the next section.
You indicated to me in your request that you only personally know of two twins, and that they both died at birth; your husband's twin siblings. Upon further seeking in your Reading, it is clear that the twins in your dream were in fact your husband's twin siblings, appearing before you, rather than your husband, because you are the "psychically open" of the two. Your husband's father passed over a few years ago, and has tried several times to communicate with your husband through dreams, as this is the only forum in which he can reach your husband, when he is open and his defenses are not raised. Your husband has likely dismissed these dreams as nothing more than missing his father, but your/his reading reflects that an actual communication was taking place. It seems the communication gets "cut off" each time very abruptly, however. My sense is that your husband's siblings appeared to you, on behalf of his father, because it would "grab your attention" much more than if you were to have had a dream of his father, with a familiar face and fond memories. So your dream really pertains to both you and your husband...a different message for each of you, brought in one dream. For you, that your gifts are an inherent part of yourself, and should be seen as just that -- GIFTS -- and that you have the ability to connect not only for yourself, but on behalf of your husband. On a personal level for your husband, the important thing to know is that his father is still very much with him, and does visit and communicate with him through his dreams. |
