Author: Charlotte Title: My sister will always be I was a little more than three she was 4 years older than me. Though I latched on and never let her free my sister would always be. Though I walked behind her home, not far ahead she'd roam; with a watchful eye she'd keep my sister would always be. In highschool days we'd seek different groups of friends to keep. Even though very different than me, my sister would always be. Wedding bells rang loud one day then the miles between us lay. Though her face i couldn't see my sister would always be. Two daughters of her own has she one is now about age three. She'll learn and grow and learn somehow that her sister will always be. Author: Jenifer RavenSong Title: A Beautiful Spirit A Beautiful Spirit rejoices in individuality, rather than passing judgment. Uses the gift of speech to heal, rather than to slay. Seeks to correct failures, rather than criticizing them. Offers forgiveness, rather than being poisoned with resentment. Revels in the truth, rather than in duplicity. Lives in harmony and connectedness with mankind, rather than in isolation and removal from it. Seeks to know, rather than condemning that which it does not. Knows that in the end all Paths will converge into ONE... rather than believing there is but one to walk. Lives in harmony with the earth, water, air and beasts, rather than living in ignorance of our codependency. Believes that the best of some, truly exists within all, if it is only sought. Knows that to truly live means to breathe deeply, rather than to sigh shallowly. A Beautiful Spirit exists within every creature upon the Earth.... to recognize that is to truly live. |

Author: Tina Title: Being Reaching gets you nowhere Being only causes pain But there's nothing but being you or whether you want to be or not. The real question is what to be -- be real -- don't feel just be. Being is a state of mind which causes much confusion until you realize that being is natural and to be thankful of who and what you are. You are for a reason --and somewhere --somehow you will find that reason until you do just being is enough. Submitted By: Brenda Foley Date Submitted: 4/18/02 |
